They were absolutely delicious. My mentor is very large on meat, but I will try to save some of the vegetarian dishes from our next meeting and bring them to school! -Sarah
Yup, these are my thematic statements from the interview.
Annie, I really enjoyed your presentation and found your topic really original. I had no idea that we had the ability to take carbon back out of our atmosphere in this way. I liked how you animated the video yourself, I feel it added a personal touch to your presentation. I can’t imagine how much work it was animating the presentation. I am wondering if the production of these synthetic trees is eco-friendly, since they seem to be very effective but are they worth the production pollution?
Hi Valerie, I really enjoyed your TED talk and found your topic super interesting. I really like how you outlined a clear introduction and conclusion of your talk which made the presentation easier to follow. I am wondering if you came across any studi…
Hi Olesya, I really enjoyed the TED talk, and the animations were really well done. I’m still wondering the ways that SNP’s effect our day to day lives, and the likeliness an SNP being harmful or beneficial to our systems.
Thanks Leah, I thought that adding my own pictures would add some personality to the presentation. Although there are many types of fertilizers out there so far we have no miracle product. The best solution to this problem is simply to find land away f…

Most GMO’s we use are adapted for other reasons than pollution, and still require nutrients to grow. Fertilizers are used in most crops GMO or not since fertilizers increase the nutrients available to plants. Although I am sure there are certain plants which are adapted to be more resourceful and do not need fertilizers, in order to have an effect on dead zones they would have to become more popular.
Thanks for commenting grace, I’m glad you learned something from the video. In response to your question, algae that are formed is whatever is native to the area. The problem with this algae is not that it exists, but that it exists in too large quantities for the ecosystem to handle. Hope that helps.
I really liked the visuals and animations throughout your presentation. The topic is super interesting! I am wondering how ethically correct and effective prosthetics would be in stopping aging. Wouldn’t our other body parts keep aging, and how much robotic parts can we add before the person is a robot and not a person?
I looked at your investigation since my question was similar. I really liked how well you described the reasons for the Filles du Roi and how cohesively you went over their background. I also liked how you cohesively described the significance of…
