Hi Mr. Salisbury,
The researcher actually brought up a lot of points about how nurses provide the majority of the patients’ care, and it made me ponder the societal views that are placed on nurses versus doctors. If someone says ‘I went into medicine because I wanted to help people’, there are certainly so many more (and perhaps, more valuable) ways that one can care for the patients. It all depends on what you judge to be valuable and to what demographic. I put the theme in the context of materialistic ‘stuff’ because Mr. Morris defined them as being universal, so I couldn’t focus it only on the profession aspect.
